  • Experience of working with different equipment such as ion chromatography (IC), total organic carbon analyzer (TOC-L), elemental analyzer-isotopic ratio mass spectrometer (EA-IRMS).
  • Field work experience of aerosol sample collection (PM2.5 and total suspended particles) using medium and mini air sampler from low land to high altitude Himalayas.
  • Use of AE31 to monitor the concentration of black carbon in the environment in real time.
  • WRF-GC model
  • Computer skills: Windows, MS-office (word, excel, power point), Origin, SPSS, ARC-GIS, HYSPLIT model etc.
  • Handle satellite data obtained from MODIS, CALIPSO to locate fire points, elevated pollution etc.

  • Strong command of written and spoken English, Nepali and ability to speak foreign languages such as Hindi, Urdu, Chinese (little).
