The core of the programme is the design studio, complemented by courses in the humanities, technology, design computation and professional practice. Students on the programme play an active part in the entire studio learning and learn to use tools, digital or analogue, that help them describe places and ideas as an architect.

In addition to University-wide amenities, the School is supported by a host of specialised facilities and resources, including the Architecture Library, digital design and digital fabrication labs, workshops for model building and general construction, exhibition zones, and designated design studio workspace.
