現今同學對良師的要求與期望
Dear students,
The outgoing summer
was eventful. I think
many of us were drowned
in ambivalence when
seeing the resurrection
of Lai Yuen, the Greek
referendum on austerity
measures, the destructive
explosion in Tianjin and
then Bangkok, etc. The
entire season was filled
with a mixed feeling
comprising fun, sorrows, love, thrills, cares and ironies. After
all, it was the past. You must have been settled well on the
vibrant and harmonious campus. I hope you are still keeping
up the high spirit in quest of excellence in CUHK.
Information is everywhere on campus - disseminated
through official or casual ways.
University MarketPlace
,
a publication of the Office of Student Affairs, is one of the
mainstay channels that encompasses different aspects
of student life. This year,
University MarketPlace
is
going to present to you a series of new features. They
will be manifested by the interesting fronts, unknown
anecdotes and informal history of CUHK. You will have
opportunities to get to know the musical and performing
talents nourished in our aesthetic campus, people who
live their lives as if they had fallen in love with CUHK, and
nearby places which are of curiosity, etc.
In the days ahead, do grasp every chance to open
yourself to different facets of the world, unlock your
potentials and outreach to others. The Office of Student
Affairs, via its various functional sections, will continue
to offer you support in the areas of student activities and
amenities, student counselling and development, social
and civic engagement, non-local student services, and
career planning and development.
I sincerely wish you a rewarding university life!
Warmest regards,
Raymond Leung
Director of Student Affairs
