Programme Highlights

What our students say...

i

First in Asia

The BBA-JD, being one of the first of its kind in Asia, is an articulated undergraduate/ postgraduate double degree programme combining business and law. The students will obtain the two degrees in five years, as opposed to the usual six years if the two programmes are attempted separately.

OUR DESIGN

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Nam erat libero, bibendum in libero.

ii

Elite Programme with Parallel Concentrations on business and law

It is an elite programme that provides students with a well-structured inter-disciplinary educational setting with parallel concentrations on business and legal studies. Combining the strengths of the two Faculties, the programme allows students to acquire essential knowledge and practical skills in the two complimentary disciplines.

OUR DESIGN

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Nam erat libero, bibendum in libero.

iii

Flexible Completion Option

The Programme also offers students the option of graduating after 4 years with either a BBA degree or a BBA degree with a Minor in Law. This provides students with flexibility to tailor their education to their interests, strengths and needs.

Admission Grades (2019 Entry)

Programme Selection Principle in 2019 entry: 4C+2X

Target Percentile
CHIENGMATHLSM1/M2Best Elective2nd Best Elective3rd Best ElectiveTotal Reference Score
UQ55*5*5* 533
M55*5*5 5*5433
LQ5*5*45 5*5432

Note 1: The Total Reference Score is the total score of the applicant calculated based on the programme selection principle (where level 5** = 7 / level 5* = 6 / level 5 = 5 / level 4 = 4 /  level 3 = 3 / level 2 = 2 / level 1 = 1 for Category A subjects. For Category C: Other Language subjects, Grade A = 5 / Grade B = 4 / Grade C = 3 / Grade D = 2 / Grade E = 1).

Note 2: In the admission process, some programmes may have additional requirements (such as specifying subject requirements, assigning heavier weighting to specific subjects, etc.) which are NOT reflected in the Total Reference Score above.

Note 3: Please note that as admission is NOT based on public examination results alone, and the overall scores of students admitted to each programme vary from year to year, the information provided is for reference only, and should not be used to predict the chance of admission to any programme in subsequent years.
