Participants shall submit their papers by email no later than 22 December 2014 in order to give discussants ample time to read and comment on the papers.

1. Please write "[SURNAME Given Name(s)] PAPER SUBMISSION" in the SUBJECT line of the email, without quotes (e.g.: "LEE Xiaoyu PAPER SUBMISSION")
2. Papers must be written in English or Chinese (We may be able to accept Japanese papers, but please contact us first!) PDF format is preferred, but Word format is acceptable.
3. The length of the paper is preferably 5000-8000 words; and it should be representative of the 15-minute presentation to be given at the forum.
4. Title, Full Name (SURNAME Given Name(s)), Institution should be included in the header of all pages.
5. We expect traditional academic formatting with 12-point font size; a conservative, readable, font (such as New Times Roman); and 1-inch (2.54cm) margins all around.
6. Any bibliography or citation format (e.g.: APA, Chicago, MLA) is acceptable as long as it is consistent. You can find examples here and CUHK Department of Anthropology paper and thesis style here.
7. Please be reminded that since we have a large international audience, the oral presentation must be conducted in English.
