The diverse life experiences shared by guest speakers during assemblies allow students to learn positive values and attitudes and to develop their independent thinking by exploring topics such as society, culture, education, religion and art. This broadens students’ perspectives and horizons. The Service-Learning Programme contributes to students’ personal growth by engaging them in the planning and provision of services for speci c local or international targets. This also enables students to re ect upon and enhance their understanding of society, life and values. The Exploration and Discovery Programme enables students to connect their travel experiences to their areas of interest through designated College learning plans. Awardees are able to further their personal development by gaining an international perspective through participation in short-term non-local programmes or activities organised by recognised institutes, academies or organisations.
