Prague – a deserving page in my university life

‘Going on exchange to Prague, Czech Republic has been the most valuable experience in my university life,’ shared by Ms. CHU Lai Chan, a Year 3 Economics student who completed her exchange at the University of Economics (VSE) in Prague during the first term of 2015-16.

‘The whole country is just like a place in the fairy tale and the city is so fascinating. I enjoyed studying at VSE in Prague. The teachers are very nice and they always encourage students to express our thoughts during class discussion. My confidence in communicating with others in English has been strengthened.’ Lai Shan is thankful that she could be a CUHK student ambassador to promote CUHK and Hong Kong to the local students at the International Fair organised by VSE. She has gained independence, confidence and a newfound pride for her Chinese culture through the experience in Europe.
