CUHK hosted the Sixth Pan-Pacific Nursing Conference and First Colloquium on Chronic Illness Care

With events management support provided by the Office of Academic Links (OAL), the Nethersole School of Nursing successfully held the Sixth Pan-Pacific Nursing Conference and First Colloquium on Chronic Illness Care on campus during 2-4 March 2016. The event attracted more than 500 health and social care delegates from over 20 countries to discuss and explore strategies and initiatives for transformational and sustainable development in health and social care services in both local and global contexts.

OAL provided assistance in a range of areas including venues, posters and exhibitions, accommodation, catering, transportation, design and production of printing materials, onsite setup and support, and conference memorabilia.

In support of the University’s ongoing internationalisation efforts to strengthen its international presence and the development of academic and research partnerships, the International Events Team at OAL provides events management and consultancy services to assist academic and research units in planning and organising conferences on campus.
