Welcome to Chan’s Lab — Tissue Engineering Lab!
We develop natural biomaterial and stem cell-based technologies for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. We are also interested in understanding the cellular responses to different growth-stimulating signals and the interactions between cells and biomaterials.
In this paper, we reconstitute a 3D osteogenic niche (3DON) mimicking that in bone marrow to support primary AML cell survival and phenotype maintenance in cultures. This is part of our complex organoid models technology.
