The dinner in Honour of the Honorary Fellows and in Celebration of the 45th Anniversary of the University was held at our teaching hotel, Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Shatin on 18 May 2009.

Chairman and members of the University Council, Honorary Fellows, current and former vice-chancellors, teachers, alumni, students and hundreds of guests from various sectors joined the dinner to celebrate the University's 45th birthday. During the dinner, performances by a band, SIU 2 and an acappella singing performance by the Gay Singers, all CUHK alumni, have gained rounds of applause from the audience.
