C-ELT1001 Social English (non-credit bearing)

This course is designed to help students to build their social and communication skills using the English language. Specifically, the course aims at providing lots of opportunities for students to practice social English in a supportive and non-threatening language environment. Fun activities include topical discussions, role-plays, making short speeches and oral presentations. Assessment will be based on class performance only. Good attendance and active participation are required for course fulfillment. There is no pre-requisite. Students from all aspects and nationalities can take the course to reinforce their English communication skills. Similar course has been taught to the students in CUHK.
