19 December Consultant's Stage 2 Stakeholder Engagement Report released.
7 December A display board introducing CMP was set up on the Alumni Homecoming Day on December 7. CMP 2009 Calendar bookmarks were distributed to visitors to inform them of the CMP project.
8 November Professor P.C. Ching, Professor Michael Hui, Professor Fung Tung and CMP Consultant attended the Forum “Ideal Campus in the Eyes of the Alumni (2)" organized by the Convocation of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and collected the views of local and overseas alumni.
Sept - Oct Stage 2 engagement activities took place during this period. Views and concerns gathered were considered by the consultants and summarized in their Stage 2 Stakeholder Engagement Report.

21 September Professor P.C. Ching met with President and members of the Chinese University of Hong Kong Alumni Association, Australia in Sydney and gave an update on the latest campus development.

26 April

Professor P.C. Ching and Professor Rance Lee attended the Forum “Ideal Campus in the Eyes of the Alumni" organized by the Convocation of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and listened to the views of local and overseas alumni.

11 April

At the CMP Open Forum, the Consultants reported on the summary of findings collected from the engagement meetings and workshops.  They also answered questions raised by participants.

5, 7 and 8 April Three CMP Workshops were held.  The CMP Consultants led the participants to go into more in-depth discussions on the key issues of the CMP: landscape design, pedestrian-friendly campus, new venues for learning, enrichment of campus life, and sustainability and conservation of heritage, etc.  The Consultant also presented concerns and constraints of the campus and provided some thoughts on planning and design at the workshops for discussion.

31 March

Two engagement meetings were held.  Professor Michael Hui, Professor Essy Baniassad and CMP Consultants met with representatives from Chung Chi College and Graduate School at the first meeting.  Professor Michael Hui and CMP Consultants met with students at the second.

29 March

Professor PC Ching, Professor Essy Baniassad and CMP Consultants met with Alumni on this Saturday afternoon.

28 March

Professor PC Ching, Professor Michael Hui, Professor Essy Baniassad and CMP Consultants met with representatives mainly from the Faculties of Engineering and Business Administration and listened to the views and opinion of these shakeholder groups.

20 March

Professor PC Ching and the Consultant met with representatives from New Asia College, United College and Shaw College and exchange views.  This being the first of a series of Engagement Meeting.

10 March

The Steering Committee organized a Briefing Session.  Steering Committee Members gave a summary on the process of Consultant appointment and the Consultant introduced to the invited participants the progress and details of the next phase of the CMP, and heard views on the process and the schedule of upcoming consultative workshops.

6 March Prof. Ching met with the alumni in San Francisco about the recent campus development.

February The University appointed Aedas Limited in association with Edward Cullinan Architects (ECA) to be the professional consultant for the Campus Master Plan (CMP).
