It plays a significant role in the promotion of green, high-quality economic development and the construction of a Beautiful China. A s the reform of the EIA system progresses into the period of the 15th Five-Year Plan, there is an urgent need to conduct research on EIA system theory based on complex systems and interdisciplinary integration, expand EIA practice areas, and empower traditional EIA work methods and techniques with digital technologies. Towards this end, Nankai University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Institute of Environmental Impact Assessment will jointly host the “Conference on EIA for the Construction of a Beautiful China cum the 7th China Environmental Assessment (EA) Forum” from 25-28 June 2025, in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
