On 6-8 November 2015, more than 600 academics, scientists, healthcare professionals and postgraduate students attended the scientific conference on personalized medicine and pharmacogenomics held in Changsha.  This important annual event was organised by the Division of Medical and Health Care, Chinese Academy of Engineering, Central South University and Centre for Food and Drug Safety, Faculty of Medicine, CUHK.  Prof. Hong-Hao Zhou, Director of Institute of Clinical Pharmacology, Central South University chaired the Organising Committee and delivered the opening address.  Prof. Thomas Y.K. Chan, Director of Centre for Food and Drug Safety was the Deputy Chairman of the Organising Committee and the Academic Committee.
