CUHK-Sussex Neuroscience Workshop
A joint workshop on neuroscience was held at the University of Sussex (Sussex) on 9 March 2015 with participation from four CUHK researchers from the School of Biomedical Sciences, School of Life Sciences, Department of Medicine and Therapeutics, and Department of Psychology. It was the second of two joint workshops organised by the two universities, following the CUHK-Sussex Cancer Science Workshop in December 2014.
The Neuroscience Workshop centred on the preclinical and clinical aspects of neurodegeneration. Outcomes from the event included plans for collaborative research in brain imaging, pathogenesis studies, genetics studies, Alzheimer’s disease, and dementia; summer undergraduate research; and PhD student and faculty mobility.
