Honorary Research Fellow—Li Sher-shiueh
                                                  (Academia Sinica)

Prof. Li Sher-shiueh is Research Follow of the Institute of Chinese Literature and Philosophy, Academia Sinica, ROC, with a jointly professorship of Graduate Institute of Translation and Interpretation, National Taiwan Normal University. He is also appointed as Concurrent Professor of Cross-Cultural Studies in Fu Jen Catholic University. He received his PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Chicago in 1999. Prof. Li is a specialist in the Cross-disciplinary Studies of religion and literature. He has received a number of prestigious awards, including the National Science Council Outstanding Research Award. He has been affiliated with RCT as Honorary Research Fellow since 2012. Prof. Li is actively involved in the project “Translation Activities of the Missionaries in the Late Ming and Early Qing” (明末清初傳教士的翻譯活動), funded by the Focused Investment Scheme of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He heads the sub-project “Literary Translation in the Jesuit Writings of Late Ming China” (明末耶穌會傳教士文學翻譯研究).
