CLC provides the following tiers of student activities. Extra fee is needed in some events. The Center reserves the final right to decide how many activities and which activity to be held within a school term.

Class and division activities
	Every 3-credit course will have a language practice activity of 3 sessions, whether indoor or outdoor, to be organized by the teacher-in-charge or the division.
Center events
	Spring: Spring Party (February or March).¡@
	Summer: Short cultural tour to mainland China (July).
	Fall: Outing (October). For example: Exploring out-lying islands by ferry; hiking to the coastal terrain; a discovering tour to cultural sites of commercial and political importance etc.
University events
	CUHK annual speech contest for qualified students(February-March).
Ad hoc events
	Language tables: lunch chat while enjoying a variety of international dishes contributed by students.
	Informal interest groups and workshops: lion dance and Chinese folk dance training etc.
	Professional workshops, such as HSK preparation workshop.
For new students
	CUHK/ CLC orientation, campus tour, Shatin orientation, Chinese dim-sum lunch at staff club.
	Seminar: Smart living in H.K.
	Pick up service and surrounding briefing.
For current and leaving students
	Seminar: employment in Hong Kong, HK Education system & Introduction to Chinese language open exams.
	Student trainee recruitment.
