Diploma Programme in Theology
Divinity
School of Chung Chi College (Theology Division) has
been co-organizing a few religious courses with the
School of Continuing Studies of the Chinese University
quarterly since 1974. In 1986, a one-year Certificate
Course in Theology was launched. Since 2006, this programme
has been upgraded into “ Diploma Programme in Theology”.

Advanced Diploma Programme in Theology
Since
2006, Divinity School of Chung Chi College and the
School of Continuing and Professional Studies, The
Chinese University of Hong Kong jointly organized the
programme every alternative year. It offers students who come with a range
of previous educational experiences, modules that will
develop a contextual and reflective understanding of
Christian Faith and Practice; to enable students to
develop an open and inquiring approach to the study
of the Bible; to help students to gain a deeper insights
into how the Christian faith is, and could be relevant
to the modern world. Course content include:

Theology Training (Ministry) for Laity
Jointly organized with The Hong Kong Council of the Church of Christ in China, Methodist Church, Hong Kong and Divinity School of Chung Chi College, Theology Training (Ministry) for Laity is designed to provide theological training for laity. Course contents include 3 areas: Theological Studies, Biblical Studies and Mission and Pastoral Studies.

Refresher Courses tailor-made for Local Ministers
Each
year, two to three refreshers courses will be offered
to local ministers to enhance and update the pastoral
competence of our ministers in the fast-changing context.
