CONTRIBUTION

  1. 21C is an academic/cultural bimonthly journal (in Chinese) dedicated to the long-term development of a new, pluralistic Chinese culture. We welcome original contributions that have NOT been published in any media (except blogs). Contributions in English are also welcome and we would arrange translation. All these articles must be original and unpublished.
  2. "Research Articles" and "Review Articles" are peer-reviewed.
  3. Generally, research articles should not exceed 20,000 Chinese characters while review articles should not exceed 10,000 Chinese characters. Academic articles should be provided with an abstract and 5 keywords. Short pieces are welcome. Full and standardized references are essential. It would also be most favourable if suitable pictures or illustrations are provided.
  4. The rights of all the texts published in our journal belongs to The Chinese University of Hong Kong. No reproduction or translation is allowed unless permission by writing is obtained.
  5. Please enclose with your contribution the correct form of your name in both Chinese and English, a brief academic biographical sketch, mailing address, phone and fax numbers, and e-mail address. Please give clear notice if pen-name is used.
  6. Reply would be sent to you within 2 months after the receival of your manuscript. Printed contributions will not be returned.
  7. For Chinese contributions, article fee and a complimentary copy would be sent to the author once an article is published. For contributions in English, two complimentary copies would be sent to the author once the translated article is published, while translation fee would be issued to the translator.
