Inheriting from the past
and foster collaboration
Professor Chan is dedicated to enhance activities
organised by the Office of Student Affairs (OSA).
Serving students for decades, OSA has accumulated
fruitful experiences and has made adjustments to
the ever-changing environment. OSA will continue
to formulate plans in different directions including
student personal growth, mental care, promoting
internationalisation and career development.
Professor Chan also hoped to facilitate the
collaboration among all relevant units, building on
the achievements of past University Deans and
OSA.

Professor Chan emphasised the importance of

. He has different titles,
including Professor Chan, University Dean of
Students and Associate Vice-President.

In fact,
I
like people call me

Edwin
”
because it reminds me
of my original aspiration in serving the educational
needs of students.
It has led me to return to Hong
Kong and support the young generations.
”
Professor
Chan said he was deeply influenced by his seniors
´
commitment in the value of education and he was
determined to contribute his effort in the university.
