Areas of Responsibility

The responsibilities of UPO include but are not limited to the following areas:

  1. Strategic Planning
    Our team provides support to senior management in key areas of strategy planning and development.

  2. University Grants Committee (UGC) Planning Exercise
    We collect and analyse relevant data to facilitate academic planning.

  3. University Grants Committee (UGC) Common Data Collection Format (CDCF)
    We coordinate the CDCF exercise to report university statistics and data to UGC.

  4. Ranking Reports (Restricted Access)
    We monitor and analyse ranking performance of the University.

  5. Visiting Committee (Restricted Access)
    We work closely with different offices and units to carry out the Visiting Committee external review exercise.

  6. Academic Staff Handbook (Restricted Access)
    We ensure the information provided in the Academic Staff Handbook is accurate and up-to-date.

  7. Data Dashboard (Restricted Access)
    We provide data and information to support strategy development and planning.

  8. Institutional Research Information System (Restricted Access)
    We consolidate scattered research information into a unified institutional repository, enabling efficient data collection, management, analysis and reporting under one roof.
