Develop future research leaders through summer programme

The Summer Undergraduate Research Programme (SURP) has been serving as a platform to promote internationalisation by hosting international undergraduate students to undertake short-term research attachments at CUHK during the summer. The programme promotes CUHK’s research strengths and attracts bright-minded students from around the world to pursue postgraduate studies at the University. Since 2014, over 240 students from some 80 overseas institutions have participated in the programme to work with distinguished CUHK faculty members across almost all Faculties.

Running in its 5th year, SURP will take place during 24 June-19 August 2018 and will soon open for applications. Faculty members from all academic disciplines who are enthusiastic to lead students to develop their research skills and are devoted to provide intensive training and on-going guidance to students are welcome to join the programme as host supervisors.
