Courseware Development Grant Scheme (CDGS)
List of the projects funded by CDGS for 2007-08, 2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13, 2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-22, and 2022-25 are provided in the respective pages.
CDGS 2025-28:
- Funding Allocation: Teaching Development and Language Enhancement Grant (TDLEG)
- Funding Source: University Grants Committee (UGC).
- Purpose:
- Encourage innovative approaches to teaching and language enhancement.
- Improve student learning environments.
- Promote professional development for teaching staff.
- Supports:
- Individual projects experimenting with new approaches.
- System-level initiatives that drive changes in teaching and learning.
- Identification of good practices for sector-wide replication.

- Budget for CDGS
- HK$16.5 million set aside under TDLEG for Courseware Development Grant Scheme to support production of micro-modules and other courseware to suit the needs of the overall development of VTL and AI in CUHK during 2025–28.
- Governance
- CDGS is managed and monitored by the Sub-Committee on Education Technologies (ITGC-SET) under the University’s IT Governance Committee.
- Applications
- The Guidance Notes and online application platform will be launched shortly.
- In the interim, interested teaching staff are advised to refer to the CDGS 2022–25 Guidance Notes for preparatory purposes.
