A 23-member higher education delegation from South Korea led by Ms. Bokyung Kim, Director, Overseas Study Support Division, National Institute for International Education (NIIED) visited CUHK on 11 November 2016 to learn about CUHK's international programmes. In addition to representatives from NIIED and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Hong Kong, the delegation comprised university staff from the international affairs and education offices of nine universities in South Korea, including Ajou University, Daejeon Health Institute of Technology, Dongduk Women's University, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Hanyang University, Kongju National University, Paichai University, Seoul National University of Science and Technology, and Soongsil University.

The delegates enjoyed their visit at CUHK, where they had the opportunity to exchange ideas with their peers, including Ms. Shally Fan, Director of Academic Links, and Ms. Jenny Wu, Assistant Director, Office of Admissions and Financial Aid, and meet with Korean students and teachers at the University. The group also visited C.W. Chu College to learn about CUHK’s unique college system.
