ISS League
The League, run in its third year, was a sports event for the
associations of non-local and postgraduate students at CUHK.
Unlike the previous two years, this year’s programme was planned
and carried out by an organizing team of eight local and mainland
students for a total of eight student associations.

Cultural Festival
The Cultural Festival in March marked the climax of the
Cultural Months. Aided with the Cultural Ambassadors, the
festival had a remarkably impressive opening and brought
handicrafts DIY and food of different countries to campus.
At the opening ceremony, the students of the Korean and
Taiwanese student associations strutted their stuff; the
performance from the participants and teachers of the
African drum workshop was a real feast for the eyes and
ears; the models in

practising songs with the African drum.

Miss Nancy Law, a Cultural Ambassador, remarks, “The
experience of organizing the festival was brand new to me
and I was glad that our efforts paid off in promoting diverse
cultures at CUHK. Given limited time, we encountered
numerous obstacles during preparation. Nevertheless,
team work and guidance from the OSA staff helped us
overcome all difficulties and the event was a success!”
