Since
2013
, the Internationalization
Activity Fund has been available
to support student associations to
organise activities which promote
internationalization and cultural
exchange opportunities.
So far, funding support has been granted to
25
projects. Among them, the Youth to Sustainability
Summit organised by AIESEC in CUHK provided a platform where young local and non-local leaders
of tomorrow met to discuss social issues. In a more relaxing setting, the CUHK Muse Conversation
Meals allowed strangers to meet, to have inter-cultural conversations and to be understood, while
the participants of the Culturalization - So Far So Close project could share their own cultures
through cooking together and learning traditional Chinese arts. The organisers of these projects
also joined the Creative Minds Think Alike Training Programme which better equipped them for the
planning and implementation of such activities.
A Push in
Cultural Activities
T
he Chinese University is committed to developing students with an international perspective
and promoting exchange of diverse cultures on campus. There are many kinds of support
offered to students who have the passion and creativity in carrying out relevant activities.
The Internationalization Activity Fund for Student Associations and the Internationalization Project
for Promoting Campus Integration are two great sources.
