Sharing from former exchange students
I enjoyed my time in Mexico to an ultimate extent. I met a lot of nice people,
visited numerous gorgeous places, tasted countless exotic and delicious food,
and went to many crazy parties, to name but a few. It is a place that you
would be addicted to and is worth to spend part of your life in. If you want
to gain a totally different experience, Mexico is your best choice!

Exchange experience is important to my university life.
Throughout
6
months of study in the University of
Leeds in UK, I gained not only insight of how people
from other part of the world live, but was also given
the opportunities to try new things that I have never
expected before. The academic setting of my host
university requires an active learning style which allows
great flexibility and room for me to experience an adult
life. I could manipulate what to do in my free time with
less academic and institutional constraints and have
learnt to be more independent. The well-developed
transportation system in Europe allowed me to travel
around Europe with affordable price during spring break.
In short, the exchange experience was an aspirational
and inspirational one.

Everything arranged in this exchange programme was
very well. There were many field trips complementing the
lectures. I visited different landscapes in Brunei, including
the Brunei River, the Ulu Temburong National Park and
the Kuala Belalong Field Study Centre. What's more? I
walked up to a
200
m high bridge to enjoy the beauty of
nature from the top of the canopy layer in a rainforest and
even visited the Billionth Barrel Monument to see how
an oil driller operates. I am so thankful that we adapted
to the new environment easily with the support from the
dedicated student ambassadors assigned by UBD who are
now my close buddies. My exchange experience would
never be that fun and memorable without their company.
