The Vice-Chancellor leads delegation to explore research collaboration with UK institutions
Prof. Joseph Sung, Vice-Chancellor, travelled to the UK from 1 to 4 June 2015 to take part in the Going Global Conference where he presented a talk titled ‘Global health: a pivotal role for universities?’. He also took the opportunity to visit the Universities of Cambridge, Oxford, and Reading, as well as the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew for networking and development purposes.
Accompanying Prof. Sung in these visits were Prof. Fanny Cheung, Pro-Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Sian Griffiths, Special Adviser (International Academic Development); Prof. SHAW Pang-chui, Director of Li Dak Sum Yip Yio Chin R&D Centre for Chinese Medicine; and Prof. Steve Yim, Assistant Professor, Department of Geography and Resource Management.
