Biography
Dr. Hei Ming Lai was a psychiatrist-neuroscientist and is now a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Chemical Pathology, CUHK. With a broad interest in multiple disciplines from chemistry to psychiatry, Dr Lai’s team developed novel technologies to discover new biological principles. His team’s inventions have been featured on renowned journal covers and recognized by 3 gold medals or above in the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva. His current research interests include 3D histology-based precision medicine, biotechnology, biophysics, and neuropsychopharmacology.
