All people entering campus shall observe stipulated campus access control measures implemented by the University.
Abide by laws and regulations, adhere to campus instructions and guidelines, and follow traffic regulations.
Do not do anything that will endanger public safety, or infringe the Laws of Hong Kong.
Co-operate with University’s staff members and security personnel with regard to the implementation of campus regulations.
Behave in a dignified and civilised manner; treat all individuals including University members with courtesy and respect.
Activities such as unauthorised assemblies and chanting slogans, flash mobs, commercial filming or live broadcasting without University’s approval are not permitted on campus.
Graffiti is strictly prohibited on campus and display of banners, placards, posters or distribution of leaflets is not allowed without University’s consent.
Making excessive noise to the annoyance of others and playing of instruments causing noise or using amplifying equipment without University’s consent is not allowed on campus.
The campus is a statutory no-smoking area. No tents, marquees, hammocks, or similar structures is allowed to be setup on campus without University’s permission.
Driving of unauthorised vehicles or learner driving on campus is not allowed.
Flying of ‘Small Unmanned Aircraft’ (SUA) on campus is strictly prohibited except with University’s approval.
Electric Mobility Devices’ (EMD) including e-bikes are prohibited on campus and skateboards shall not be used on campus roads.
The University reserves the right to stop and restrict any activities deemed in violation of stipulated regulations, and remove any people or articles involved if the request for compliance with campus regulations or relevant laws is declined. Where necessary, Police assistance will be sought as appropriate.
B. Provisions Regarding Visits to Campus
The campus is open to the public from 09:00 am to 09:00 pm.
School buses are for exclusive use by students and staff members.
Visitors shall arrange their own transportation on campus or take paid shuttle light buses operating within the campus.
No unauthorised parking (other than designated visitor parking spaces) at staff or resident carparks on campus.
No bicycles shall be brought into campus by visitors.
No animals (except service dogs) are allowed to be brought into campus by visitors.
Do not enter any premises, residence and hostel compounds, sports field or grounds which are not open to the public.
Commercial activities such as setting up stalls, selling services or commodities, distributing samples or posting flyers is not allowed except with University’s consent.
Do not conduct any research, preaching or promotional activities on campus without University’s consent.
Do not litter or spit, pluck flower or plants, tread on lawn, fish from pond, barbecue on campus or cause any nuisance to others.
C. Consequences of Violating Campus Regulations
Activities on University premises must obtain in-advance authorization and consent from the University. The University reserves the right to pursue remedies against any damage to University property, or mete out penalty for any violations of campus regulations.
For any violations that constitute an offence to the Laws of Hong Kong, the University will report to the Police.
